Founded in 1982, TECI is simply the first industrial Engineering and Construction Company dedicated to promote phosphate fertilizer industry in Tunisia and all over the World.
Backed by its major shareholders: GCT (Tunisian Chemical Group, since 1947) and CPG (Tunisian Phosphate Mining Company, one of the largest producers of phosphates, ranking fifth in the world), TECI has become an international reference in the industrial engineering field throughout the value chain from rock phosphate mining to compound fertilizers via phosphoric acid merchant grade.

TECI has carried out more than 1000 projects and has won the trust of more than 500 customers located in Tunisia and abroad who attested confidence and satisfaction with the high quality, efficiency and contractual terms respect manifested by the company when piloting and supervising projects.
Recent and important projects achieved with success:
- Supply of GCT license, know-how basic engineering package and proprietary items for 1000mtpd (100% P205) phosphoric acid plant for GFSC INDIA (2019 - 2020)
- Construction Management and supervision for TSP production unit in M’Dhilla Project Owner GCT (2016 – 2020)
- EPCM 400 ton / day Phosphoric Acid plant for GCT in M’Dhilla – Tunisia (2010- 2020)
- EPCM for desalination unit for Alkimia –Tunisia
- EPCM 1000t/day Phosphoric acid plant for TIFERT - LASKHIRA Tunisia (2007 – 2011)
